Guanyin Bodhisattva opens her treasury to widely save those with affinity. 观音菩萨开财库广渡有缘人

Yesterday was the day when the compassionate Bodhisattva Guanyin opened her treasury to all sentient beings! According to legend, in ancient times, 500 Arhats, wanting to test Guanyin's spiritual practice, each transformed into a monk. Out of compassion, Guanyin opened her treasury to help those in need, extending her wisdom and spiritual life. This gradually evolved into an annual event to save sentient beings. It is hoped that through the Bodhisattva's influence, sentient beings will receive help in both their regular and windfall income to overcome difficulties. Also, those who lent red packets last year must return them this year! This symbolizes that what is borrowed must be returned!
