I wrote Project Management: Practical Guide to bring together the tools and approaches I have found most useful when working on projects and with teams across different environments.

My experience across Central and West Africa, North America, Europe, the Middle East, India and China has taught me that there is no single way to manage a project. The tools may be universal, but the way they are applied must adapt to the people, organization, resources and local context.

This book is therefore deliberately practical. Rather than focusing on theory alone, I have organized it around 32 operational tools and templates covering the complete project lifecycle from feasibility and project framing to planning, risk management, team management, budgeting, reporting, communication, quality and project closure.

My objective is simple: to give managers, project leaders, consultants, entrepreneurs and professionals tools they can actually use.

Whether you are managing a small team, launching a new business initiative, working on an infrastructure project or coordinating stakeholders across countries, the fundamentals remain the same: structure the work, make responsibilities clear, anticipate risks, communicate effectively and keep the project moving.

This guide is also particularly relevant to SMEs and projects operating in emerging and African markets, where project managers often have to achieve ambitious objectives with limited resources and complex external constraints.

This is not a book about managing projects in theory. It is a practical toolkit for getting projects done.
