Line of Time vs Value of time
Schools are very good at teaching children
how to read the hands on a clock. But reading a clock is just
measuring the line of time. It tells you little about the value of time.
Time is one of the most precious resources a human being possesses
— you can often make more money, but you can never make another
minute. When we teach our children how time works, it helps to
cover both the physical reality of the timeline (past, present, future)
and the real weight of how they choose to spend it. Here is how we
build time-management and patience from ages two through eighteen.
