1. Initial Consultation: Getting to Know Your Brows

Before the procedure begins, you’ll have an in-depth consultation with one of our experienced artists. This step is crucial to ensure that your expectations are clear and that the final result will suit your unique features. During the consultation, the artist will:

Discuss your desired brow shape, color, and style.

Assess your natural brows and facial features to determine the best approach.

Go over any relevant medical history, as certain conditions may affect the procedure.

Answer any questions or concerns you may have about microblading.

Our artists at Fine Strokes Microblading Studios take the time to listen to your preferences and work with you to create a customized plan that ensures your satisfaction with the final result.

2. Numbing and Preparation

Before starting the microblading process, the artist will apply a topical numbing cream to the eyebrow area. This helps to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure. After allowing the numbing cream to take effect (usually around 15-20 minutes), the artist will begin preparing the area for the procedure.

At this point, the artist will use a pencil or marker to draw the outline of your new brows. This step is critical, as it allows you to approve the shape and design before the microblading begins. The artist will make any necessary adjustments, and you’ll be asked to give your final approval.

3. Microblading Procedure

Once the design is finalized, the actual microblading procedure begins. Using a small, fine blade, the artist will carefully etch individual hair-like strokes into the skin. These strokes are created with precision to mimic the natural growth pattern of your eyebrow hairs. The artist will take their time to ensure that each stroke is placed carefully to create the most natural, flawless look.

The procedure usually takes between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the complexity of your brows and the level of detail required. At Fine Strokes Microblading Studios, we pride ourselves on precision, ensuring that each client receives the best possible outcome.

4. Pigment Application

As the artist works, they will apply a semi-permanent pigment to the areas where the microblading strokes are etched. The pigment is custom-blended to match your natural eyebrow color or the shade you desire, ensuring a natural-looking finish. The pigment will stay in the skin for an extended period, and as your skin heals, the brows will begin to settle into a more natural tone.

5. Healing Process: What to Expect After Your Session

Once the microblading procedure is complete, you will be given detailed aftercare instructions to help ensure optimal healing and longevity of your new brows. In the first few days following your session, you may notice some redness, swelling, and mild scabbing around the treated area. This is completely normal and part of the healing process.

Here’s what you can expect during the healing phase:

Day 1-3: Your eyebrows may appear darker than you expect. This is normal, and the pigment will lighten as the area heals. Mild swelling and redness may also occur.

Day 4-10: During this period, you may experience some flaking or scabbing. It’s essential to avoid picking at the scabs, as this can affect the final result.

Day 10-14: Most of the scabs will fall off, and your brows will begin to look softer and more natural. The color may appear lighter, and you’ll notice a more defined shape.

3-4 Weeks: At this point, your brows will be healed, and the color will settle into its final shade. Any touch-ups or adjustments can be made during your follow-up appointment.
