Grief Workbook for Young Children After Losing Mom, Fillable & Printable Activities for Ages 3-6, Loss of a Mother, Toddler Preschool
Little Hearts: When Mom Has Passed Away
Helping little ones grieve their mom.
A gentle guide for a dad or caregiver of a child ages 3–6, with pages to do together.
Part of the I Am Grieving, Now What? series.
NEW: FILLABLE PDF. Type right on your tablet or laptop, no printing needed. The fillable file is US Letter; printable US Letter and A4 versions are included too.
You are grieving, and caring for your little one at the same time. That is one of the hardest things a person can do. You don't have to have the right words. Little ones don't need perfect answers. They need you, honesty, and lots of love.
A gentle introduction for you before every activity page, explaining why it matters for your little one and how to share it with them, grounded in respected child-grief research.

A NOTE FROM ME
Hi, I'm Niki. I made these pages after losing my daughter, Harper. I'm not a therapist. I'm a mom who has walked this road, read everything I could find, and leads The Ugly Cry Club, a group for grieving mothers. I'm also a certified grief educator. Every page is written the way I wish someone had spoken to me: gently, honestly, and without a timeline.
Real tears. Real love.
