Schools teach us a lot about writing but not much about writing a novel. With the internet, it's easy to find information, but it's also easy to get overwhelmed - especially when different people can be saying totally opposite things. I teach creative writing classes in person and I know there are so many people who are interested in turning their story idea into an actual novel. Unfortunately, most of them don't know where to start, so they never do it.
At leat once a week I get an email from someone telling me they've been thinking about writing a book for years, sometimes even DECADES, and that because of my blog and emails they feel like they finally have the courage to do it. However, they're often still unsure how to get started, and I'm here to fix that problem.

Writing Your First Novel is a self-paced course that gives you the easy steps to writing a novel from start to finish. The course is made for total beginners, so you don't need to know fancy literary terms and you certainly don't need a degree in creative writing.
With each lesson, you learn something new about how great novels are written. You learn to plan and outline your novel so that you can write it with confidence and you get loads of exercises to strengthen your writing skills.
PLEASE NOTE
Many people ask me about writing a memoir, but this course is about writing fiction. Many of the lessons certainly are applicable to writing non-fiction as well, but at this time, I can't promise you will get what you need from this course if writing a memoir is your goal.
