This Reckless Flame

Down on his luck, Rafe returns to Rosewood with ten years of burnt bridges and a chip on his shoulder. Convincing the people in Rosewood that he’s changed is an impossible task and his only hope is that his aunt Aelwyn will begrudgingly take him in.

New to Rosewood, Linden loves plants—more than people, most days. Which is why looking after Elan’s plant shop seems like the perfect fit. Except that everything in Rosewood—from running the store to making friends—is harder than he expected. When Elan is kidnapped, the only person he can turn to is a grumpy dragon who can’t wait to leave Rosewood behind.

With no one to trust but each other, Rafe and Linden race to rescue Elan before anyone discovers she’s missing. Just as their plan comes together, an old associate threatens to expose Rafe’s secrets.

Together, Rafe and Linden navigate their feelings, reconcile their pasts, and learn what it means to find a place they belong.
