The Club Edition — Four Free Printable Wall Charts for Clubs, Classrooms & Groups
our 18 × 24 reference charts, free, for anyone running a club, a class, a co-op or a volunteer group.
These are the sheets that belong on a wall where the work happens — a bee shed, a greenhouse, a troop meeting room. They’re part of The Practical Manual Series, adapted from public-domain US government field manuals and extension service material, rewritten in plain language and redrawn from scratch.
What’s in it
- Five Knots to Know — figure eight, bowline, sheet bend, clove hitch, round turn and two half hitches, each shown step by step, large enough to follow from across a room with rope in your hands
- Browns & Greens — the composting ratio, what belongs in each pile, what stays out, and what each failure smells like
- The Colony Year — the beekeeping year as a wheel, six seasons, and why late summer decides whether a colony sees spring
- How Many Plants — seed saving population sizes, and why saving from too few quietly weakens a variety over years
Each is a print-ready PDF plus a PNG. Print them at any copy shop or online print service — ask for 18 × 24 on matte or satin paper.
What you may do with these
Print as many as you want. Hang them, hand them out at a clinic or a field day, put them in a members’ newsletter, send them home with students. No attribution required beyond what’s already printed on the sheet, and nothing to sign up for beyond the download.
What you may not do
Sell them, or include them in anything you sell.
Why they’re free
Each sheet has my website on it. If someone likes one enough to look me up, that’s the entire business model. I’d rather give away something good than advertise at people.
There are seven more charts, ten illustrated manuals and six printable record books in the series at riotgrrlgoods.com, if you ever want them.
Adapted from public-domain US government field manuals, USDA and extension service bulletins. Not official publications and not endorsed by any agency.
If something on one of these is wrong, tell me — hellogrrl@riotgrrlgoods.com. I’d rather fix it than have it hanging on a wall somewhere.
