BMP-2M 2023

The BMP-2M is a modernized version of the Soviet-era BMP-2, upgraded to significantly improve its firepower and combat effectiveness. Its most notable feature is the Berezhok combat module, which adds advanced optics, a 30mm autocannon, a grenade launcher, and Kornet anti-tank guided missiles. While it retains the original vehicle’s mobility and amphibious capability, the BMP-2M focuses on enhanced lethality and targeting rather than major armor improvements, making it a more dangerous but still relatively lightly protected IFV in modern combat.
