StoneGnome Infinity Scarf
A beautiful scarf with innovative new stitch patterns that utilize a wonderful drape and softness.
Inspired by water, corals, the ripples in the sand made by waves or wind, leaves, and bark on a tree, and warming flames. Anything looking natural and with a curvy organic shape. The main stitch patterns are called Little Flames and Shadowed Flames.
Experience with how to make uniform stitches are required.
The pattern includes
- a well-written pattern in US terms & with lots of photos
- supportive charts
- supportive video links - a CAL is available on youtube.
Hook: 4.5mm-6mm (US 7-10) with a small pointed head.
Gauge: You don’t need to meet one specific gauge. Guidance and a look-up table are available.
Yarn: A wool sock yarn or likewise with flexibility. I used Scheepjes Whirl (Strawberries & Scream) and extended it with a Whirlette. However, It’s a non-flexible cotton blend yarn and more difficult to work with than a yarn with a little stretch.
