The Family

For nearly a century, the Van Alstyne dynasty has shaped events from the shadows — not by ruling openly, but through money, influence, secrets and the obligations of powerful people.

It begins in New York in 1928, when two brothers make a decision that will stain generations.

As the world passes through depression, war, political upheaval, financial crises and the digital age, the Van Alstynes evolve with it. Their influence spreads through banking, law, industry, media, government and intelligence circles — never controlling everything, but always close enough to power to matter.

At the centre of the dynasty sits a secret council of twelve blood relatives known as the Apostles.

Twelve equal votes.

No ruler.

And when the vote is tied six to six, an old one-cent coin decides.

But after generations of secrecy, a century-old investigation begins closing in. Evidence once buried resurfaces. Family loyalties fracture. And some of the Apostles begin asking the question their ancestors never dared to ask:

Does the Family deserve to survive?

THE FAMILY is a sweeping conspiracy thriller about inherited power, secrecy, loyalty, moral responsibility and the terrible cost of believing that survival justifies everything.
