Welcome to the Godlywood Girl Bible-Based Mindfulness Coloring Book eBook. According to Dictionary.com, the definition of “mindfulness” is:

a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

I have dealt with anxiety from the age of six-years-old. When I become a full-time entrepreneur, I had to learn how to deal with that anxiety and be present in the Word of God so I could continue to grow my business.

That’s where adult coloring books come in. Coloring books allow you to be present in the moment and focus on what you are doing now so you don’t allow your mind to worry about what could or couldn’t happen in the future.

I like to practice mindfulness with scripture because it allows me to not only become present (which relieves stress), but also meditate on the Word of God and what He says about me.

To use this coloring book and achieve the same results, I recommend that you first read the Bible scripture, then quiet your thoughts and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what He wants you to learn in that moment.

After that, write down what the Holy Spirit reveals about how you can apply the scripture into your life right now.

Next, write a gratitude prayer to the Lord through the lens of that scripture so you can ground yourself in the present moment with the Word of God and unlock the healing power that gratitude has on the mind.

And finally, color in the mindfulness coloring book page as you continue to meditate on the Word of God. I recommend playing worship music in the background as you color to keep yourself grounded and in His presence as you unleash the power of Bible-based mindfulness in your life.

God bless you, and I can’t wait to hear what the Holy Spirit says to you.

Many blessings,

Stephanie (Godlywood Girl) Rodnez
