Any money made on the sale of the pattern will be donated to the charity for which it was originally knit - namely the Children’s Cancer Ward of the University Clinic in Mainz, Germany - which is very close to my heart!
This is a simple-to-knit rectangular stole which is knit from end to end and becomes very effective with blocking.
The stole can be worn “bunched” together in Winter as a warm neck scarf or ideally in Summer as a light, airy shawl.
Yarn: I used ca. 600m of fingering weight (100g/350m)in Merino Superwash – but any yarn may be substituted.
Size: Using the above yarn, the resulting stole was 165cm X 70cm
Needles and Notions: 5mm/US8, 3.5mm/US4, Crochet hook
Pattern: The pattern takes almost no memorizing – at the most there are only 4-stitch-repeats on the Nupp Border Section. The main pattern is worked exactly the same on RS and WS rows.
Very basic crochet knowledge is required to work single crochets and Picots along the finished edge of the stole.
All instructions are written.
The Downloaded pattern consists of 4 A4 pages with photos and detailed instructions.
Pattern available in both English and German.
