The Armor of God Made Simple

Dressed for the battle.

The armor of God — truth, righteousness, faith, and the Word, for standing firm against the enemy's schemes (Ephesians 6:10-18).

You are in a fight you did not start and cannot see. Paul says so plainly: our struggle is not against flesh and blood. The Christian life is not a playground; it is a battlefield — and God has not left His soldiers unarmed. In Ephesians 6, He issues the armor Himself: belt, breastplate, boots, shield, helmet, sword. Six pieces, every one of them a truth about who God is and what Christ has done.

This book walks you through each piece, one at a time, in plain language. No fear-mongering. No formula. No technique that treats prayer like a weapon you wield and God like a battery you drain. The armor is worn in the power of the Holy Spirit, in the victory Jesus Christ already won at the cross, under the protection of God the Father who sends His children into the fight dressed for it.

Across 13 chapters you'll learn:

- Why "be strong in the Lord" means receiving strength, not generating it

- What the six pieces of the armor are — and why you need all of them

- How the belt of truth answers the enemy's favorite weapon: the lie

- Why the breastplate is Christ's righteousness, not your moral record

- How the gospel of peace gives you footing and sets you marching

- What the shield of faith does to the flaming arrows aimed at your mind

- Why the helmet of salvation guards your assurance and your future

- How to wield the sword of the Spirit the way Jesus did in the wilderness

- Why prayer in the Spirit is the engine that powers the whole armor

- Who your real enemy is — and why he is already defeated

- What "stand your ground" means when the day of evil comes

- How to dress for battle every morning in under ten minutes

Bible-first throughout. Unapologetically Trinitarian: standing in the strength of God the Father, in the victory of Jesus Christ the Son — Lord and Savior, Son of God and Son of Man — by the power of the Holy Spirit. The armor is worn in the Spirit's power, not as technique or formula; spiritual warfare is real, but the victory belongs to Christ.

Each chapter opens with Scripture and ends with one clear action step. Includes a closing prayer written from the armor and a Q&A appendix answering the honest questions people ask about spiritual warfare.
