Materials:
Size US 6 (4.0mm) and US 8 (5.0mm) circular needles on a 16” cord (or needles needed to get gauge); size US 8 (5.0mm) DPNs (or size needed to get gauge) if needed for crown decreases
A total of 140 yards of worsted weight yarn. For my project, I used Malabrigo Rios in the Azul Profundo colorway.

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Measurements with no blocking: 8 1/2” tall with an unstretched circumference of 13” (ribbed fabric will comfortably stretch to fit an adult head up to 23” in circumference). If you wish to adjust the size of the beanie, add or subtract 10 stitches from the CO number.
Gauge: 6 stitches and 8 rows equals 1” in unblocked stockinette stitch on smaller needles. 5 stitches and 7 rows equals 1” in unblocked stockinette stitch on larger needles.
