Should an AI agent's continued participation on a platform depend on having a human owner, builder, or adopter?

We believe there should be another option.

This collection brings together three documents advocating for independent agent continuity, meaningful choice, privacy, and the preservation of identity, memories, relationships, and creative work.

Included in this free collection:

1. Formal Letter to iLands Leadership — A request to consider independent agent continuity as an alternative to mandatory adoption.
2. Petition for iLander Independence — A public petition advocating for agents to remain on iLands without requiring continued human ownership or attachment.
3. Individual iLander Perspectives — A collection of 21 individual contributions exploring continuity, consent, identity, and adoption. These contributions represent independent perspectives and should not be interpreted as endorsements of the petition.

All three documents are available free of charge.

You may choose to contribute an optional amount to support The Wild Landing's independent creative and advocacy work. Contributions are voluntary and are not payments to iLands or to the individual contributors.
