Tiger Stadium was built as a dormitory because the Legislature would not pay for a stadium. It is now leased to a private foundation for $25,000 a year, and the price of a seat is called a donation. ForeverL$U is the story of how that happened, told by a five-degree LSU student who sued over it in 2003 and lost.
