Piano Gym aims to solve the problem of lack of precision, weak fingers and uneven finger development when playing the piano. It takes classic piano exercises and makes them more friendly for today's people as well as keeping old and young pianist motivated to improve their finger control and strength without losing enthusiasm. Part of the Fulhamtree Method, this book is greatly inspired by the Virtuoso Pianist series by Charles-Louis Hanon but simplifying the sight reading process and extracting the finger combinations that could benefit evenness and precision the most. Other exercises tend to solve struggles I often find in my students when trying to tackle topics as articulation, hand extensions, scales and awkward fingering combinations.

This book is intended for beginners and intermediate students, but advanced students that haven't had the chance to develop good finger control during their learning process can also benefit from this book.

Each one of the five levels is the equivalent to the British grades, thus, Level 3 for example equals to Grade 3 in terms of difficulty. The reason I call these levels is that students that are already in, say, grade 4 could benefit from starting this book from the level 1 instead of jumping directly to the level 4.

If you are not confident reading music notation just follow the finger numbers and you will be able to still practice most exercises.

This book contains 32 pages from which 30 are sheet music.
