My Daily Questions App: Who am I now? Life Transitions
Who am I Now? Life Transitions
Designed for clients navigating significant identity transitions: redundancy, retirement, divorce, empty nest, serious diagnosis, relationship endings, or any change that has removed the scaffolding of a previous life chapter. The presenting question is not grief exactly, but: who am I without that role?
Questions move through five tiers informed by Bridges’ Transition Model (though not using this language): acknowledging what has changed; identifying what remains of the self beneath the role; inhabiting the liminal zone; noticing what is emerging; and orienting gently toward something new.
What Makes it Work
The third tier — The space in between — is often the most significant in the work. It gives explicit permission to not know yet, pushing back against the pressure many clients feel to have themselves figured out before they are ready. The app treats the liminal zone as valid in itself, not merely as a problem to be resolved.
Particularly Useful For
High-functioning clients who are used to solving problems and who find the absence of a clear answer to 'who am I now?' disorienting or quietly shameful.
About the 'My Daily Questions' Series
Each app delivers one reflective question per day to your client, drawn from a bank of twenty questions organised into five clinical tiers. The tiers move gradually from gentle, concrete entry points toward deeper self-exploration — so the questions ask less of your client early on, and more as the relationship with the app develops.
Answers are stored only on your client's device. Nothing is transmitted online. Everything stays private to them.
No app store. No account. No ongoing cost. Your client taps a link once to install it on their phone — it works like any other app, including offline.
