Ultimate Adventure Checklist

The Post Family Pilgrimage Ultimate Adventure Checklist

Pack smarter. Forget less. Get out there.

After years of camping, overlanding, road trips, hiking, fishing, and exploring together as a family, we’ve learned something pretty simple: the best adventures don’t require having every piece of gear imaginable—but being prepared sure makes them better.

The Post Family Pilgrimage Ultimate Adventure Checklist is a 14-page printable and digital guide designed to help you plan, pack, and prepare for your next adventure without constantly wondering, “What are we forgetting?”

Inside you’ll find practical checklists covering:

• Trip planning and pre-departure preparation
• Vehicle and roadside essentials
• Recovery gear
• Camp setup and sleep systems
• Camp kitchen, food, and water
• Clothing and weather preparation
• Hiking and fishing gear
• Electronics, power, and communication
• First aid and emergency readiness
• Family and kid essentials
• Our final five-minute campsite check
• Gear we actually use on our adventures
• PFP outdoor partners and recommended brands
• A customizable master gear list
• Trip-planning and memory notes

We’ve also included clickable links to some of the gear and brands connected to our real adventures, while clearly separating equipment we personally use from PFP partner recommendations.

This isn’t about buying more stuff. It’s about being prepared enough to go—and present enough to enjoy the people you’re going with.

Whether you’re loading an overland rig for a week in the mountains or taking the family camping for the weekend, keep this guide on your phone, print a copy for the truck, and make it your own.
