THE DARING DECEPTION

What used to be secret is no more secret in our world anymore. There is a growing fascination with the occult in our free world today. 

In the past, it was uncommon to know anybody involved in the practice of any kind of craft (being it dark or light). But today, prominent members of our sciety are now boldly coming out to declare their adherence and involvement in the secret craft. Many of our youth today are developing interest in the secret crafts.

Freemasons have done a great job over the centuries to conceal their true identity. Their activities shouded in secrecy and mystery have been largely unknown to many. 

The study of Freemasonry is an inexhaustible one, and many books and learned papers have been written and presented in regard to the subject; therefore it is not my intention to go into the highways and byways of Masonry and get lost down side lanes and tracks in a maze of rituals and symbols, which have mostly been covered in any case by those who are for, and those who are opposed to Masonry

Freemasons are always quick to distance themselves from the occultism tag. They will vehemently exonerate themselves from any description that paints them as an occultic organization. But are they really free from being an occultic fratenity?

The word “occult” came from the greek word ”ocultus” meaning hidden. There are three distinct meanings to this word.

§  Not revealed: SECRET

§  Not easily apprehended or understood: ABSTRUSE, MYSTERIOUS

§  Hidden from view : CONCEALED

If Freemasonry falls within the category of the definition of the word, then in no doubt can be classified as such. Per their own admission in the past, Freemasonry was a SECRET FRATENITY OF MEN. In modern times, Freemasonry does not admit to be a secret society but rather a SOCIETY WITH MYSTERIOUS SECRETS. The key word for an occult is SECRET.
