The Warm-up Library
Stop rebuilding the first 10 minutes of every session.
You know what you're training today. Here's how to get ready for it.
The Warm-Up Library gives you 37 practical warm-ups organized around the session ahead, with clear instructions and the reasoning behind each sequence. Built by Daniel for coaches, trainers and everyday gym-goers, it helps you adapt your preparation to the time, space, equipment and energy you have.
Choose what you’re training today. Get a warm-up that prepares you for it—and understand why it works.
Know what to do. Understand why.
Every template includes exercises, sets and reps or time and distance, estimated duration, equipment, intensity and substitutions—plus two useful perspectives:
- Trainee View: What this prepares you to do today, in plain language.
- Coach View: Why the sequence is organized this way, what to watch for, when to make it easier and what you can skip when time is short.
Preparation with a purpose
The framework is simple: Raise → Move → Rehearse → Ramp.
One drill can serve several purposes, so you don’t need four separate blocks every time. Familiar movements are welcome. The goal is to feel prepared with energy left to train.
Strength templates follow compound movement patterns, with useful crossover across equipment. Finish your preparation with the lift you actually plan to use.
Some sessions need more time. Heavy lifting, maximal sprinting and certain endurance sessions may call for a longer progression. Five-minute options help you get started; the session and your readiness determine what comes next.
