From Phase‑Aware to Age‑Aware: The Next Leap in Female Wearable Intelligence

Part I demonstrated that most wearables still interpret a cyclical, hormone‑driven system with linear, male‑derived models, structurally misclassifying normal physiology as stress, fatigue or deterioration.
Part II adds the second axis that current systems almost entirely ignore: age. Using the largest real‑world dataset published to date on menstrual cycles (Cunningham et al., 2024), complemented by peer‑reviewed literature and qualitative data from user interviews and social platforms, this report shows how cycle length, variability, bleeding patterns, autonomic signatures and symptom clusters change across the reproductive lifespan.
For companies and investors, the message is direct: female physiology is not only cyclical, it is age‑modulated. Any interpretation engine that ignores age will systematically misclassify signals, degrade user trust and leave value on the table.
