A Soft Look is an award-winning short documentary by Canadian filmmaker Perry Mark Stratychuk. Its original ambient electronic soundtrack, inspired by the work of Brian Eno and Ryuichi Sakamoto, was composed and performed by Stratychuk himself and was released internationally as the 7" 5-song vinyl EP A Soft Look in 1984.

Body Waves is the complete recording of all soundtrack material intended for the film, including previously unreleased tracks not included on the EP or used in the film itself.
