ABOUT THE PATTERN
This is a fun, quick chunky knit creating a pair of cozy mittens with a heart on the palm of each hand.

Shown in Lion Brand Thick & Quick Tweed and Lion Brand Thick & Quick Solids. The cream tweed color is the main color, and the charcoal gray color is the contrasting color.
GAUGE
12 stitches, 15 rows in 4” x 4” stockinette in the round
TOOLS
8.0 mm (US size 11) circular or double-pointed needles
Darning needle
Stitch holder
Stitch marker, optional
TECHNIQUES
This pattern uses the knit, purl, knit through the back loop, simple increases and decreases, and very basic color work. This is a great pattern for an adventurous beginner interested in working their first mitten.
