The Blame it on the Buggy blanket pattern came about because I just had to find yet another reason to use the CamaRose Yaku yarn!

Yarn packs available here from The Loveliest Yarn Company.

Sizes

Finished size: Width: 31 inches, length: 35.5 inches (buggy)

Yarn
Yarn: CamaRose, Yaku 4ply, 100% super wash merino wool, 200 meters (218 yards) per 50g ball.

Colours used in sample:
Main colour 2 50g balls in Rahvid 1000
Contrasts 7 50g balls, 1 each of Mellengra 1060 (C1), Lysrosa 1800 (C2), Hindboer 1220 (C3), Magenta 1704 (C4), Morkellia 1823 (C5), Sennegul 1990 (C6) and Turkis 1996 (C7).

Yarn Substitution CamaRose Yaku is a smoothly-spun, 100% superwash merino wool that has beautiful stitch definition. Each 50g ball has 200 meters of yarn. It is machine washable at 30 degrees. Each stripe uses less than 10g of CamaRose Yaku. For the white stripes, approximately 75g of yarn is required.

Recommended Needles
3mm 120 cm long-circular needle.

Notions
Darning needle, 12 stitch markers & a scissors.

Construction and Techniques
Due to the number of potential ends in this project, it is recommended that the main colour is carried along the edge of the shawl between contrast colours.  Also, it is best to knit in the ends of the striped yarns while make the project - to save yourself all the ends in the end!
