Tiamat is an awe-inspiring and fearsome deity. She is the primordial matriarch of chromatic dragons—red, blue, green, black, and white—and embodies their greed, pride, and raw elemental power. As a mother, Tiamat is less nurturing and more tyrannical. She birthed her children not purely out of love but as extensions of her will, tools to expand her dominion across the realms. Her lair in the Nine Hells pulses with the presence of her progeny, each one vying for her favor, fearing her wrath, and emulating her grandeur. To her, the multiverse is a nest to be conquered and hoarded, and her children are the claws she sends forth to claim it. Even among gods, Tiamat is a being of ancient, imperial majesty—terrifying, regal, and eternally scheming. Those who invoke her name do so with reverence and dread, for to call upon her is to beckon the storm of fivefold fury.
