A fun top-down sock pattern. The sequel to By Chance socks. These are fraternal and you use a dice to determine which stitch pattern to work. No two socks are the same! If you don’t have a dice, then just google “roll a dice” instead.


YARN

Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash (50g; 210m [230yds]; 75% wool, 25% nylon); 4ply/fingering.

Please note that the quantities are guidance only as this can alter depending on which patterns are worked.

MC: Bordeaux 84 (darkest colour)

145, [165, 180, 225]m / 159, [181, 197, 246]yds

1 [1, 1, 2] 50g hank

CC: Ruby 262 (lightest colour)

165, [190, 205, 255]m / 181, [208, 224, 279]yds

1 [1, 1, 2] 50g hank


SIZE

1 [2, 3, 4]

To fit = 18 [20.5, 23, 25.5]cm / 7 [8, 9, 10]” foot circumference.

Finished dimensions = 16 [18, 20, 22]cm / 6¼ [7, 8, 8¾]” circumference at foot.


GAUGE

 36 stitches by 52 rounds = 10cm [4”] in stocking stitch.

Check your gauge.


NEEDLES

2.25 mm [US Size 1] needles for working in the round in

preferred method for circular knitting; or size to obtain gauge
