This book is about abrupt light; blinking your eyes to adjust. It is about falling in love with self. It is a process. Light expels the dark. Light renders. Some of the poems face those previously hidden or repressed aspects of self; of culture; of trauma and acknowledge the validity of the accompanying emotions and only then let them go. The past no longer predicts the future. There are also visions and poems that are expressions of joy and wonder about being a creator and incarnated at this crucial time on earth.
