Grass Whispers is a very eclectic design: with cables, ribbing, colourwork and stockinette stitch, — all in perfect balance. The pullover is worked top-down in the round with an optional mock neck and an easily customizable length. You can take a closer look at my sample and discover the design process in this podcast episode.

Sizes
  • The pattern is written for nine sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) with a finished bust circumference of ca. 88 (101, 114, 126, 133) (139, 152, 164, 171) cm // 34.75 (39.75, 44.75, 49.75, 52.25) (54.75, 59.75, 64.75, 67.25) in incl. ca. 10 cm (4 in) of recommended positive ease.
  • The sample is cropped and shown in size 2 on a 160 cm (5.3 ft) tall model with ca. 84–66–94 cm (33–26–39 in) body measurements.
Yarn
  • MC: ca. 330 (360, 415, 460, 500) (540, 600, 645, 700) g or 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Harverst Hues yarn from John Arbon Textiles, 65% organically-farmed Falklands Merino and 35% Devon Zwartbles with approx. 200 m (219 yds) per 100 g skein, shown in colourway Russet;
  • or ca. 660 (720, 830, 920, 1000) (1080, 1200, 1290, 1400) m // 722 (788, 908, 1006, 1094) (1182, 1313, 1411, 1532) yds for a cropped (21 cm (8.25 in)) finished body length version of any worsted/light aran weight yarn with a matching gauge.
Make sure to have extra MC yarn if you wish to add body length.
  • CC: ca. 14 (15, 17, 18, 20) (21, 23, 24, 25) g or 1 mini-skein with approx. 50 m (55 yds) per 25 g of the same yarn, shown in colourway Bracken;

To stay on a safe side I would probably advise to order 2 mini-skeins for sizes 6 to 9.
