Inspired by the northern lights, the Northern Lights Hat is helping to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society. There are lots of causes of dementia with no two types the same as they each cause damage to different parts of the brain. Alzheimer’s Society is a UK charity that funds research in to finding a cure and supports people living with all types of dementia. £2 of the sale price of this knitting pattern will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society (Registered Charity Number 296645) in memory of my Grandma, to help them fund much needed research to find a cure for dementia.
In sizes for all the family, this hat is knit in the round from the bottom up and features a simple lace pattern on a stocking stitch background, making it the perfect project for some weekend knitting.
