This pattern is for a Tunisian Crochet Shawl that is worked sideways.
Materials Needed:
Yarn: 600-1000 yards of lace weight yarn. Shawl includes directions to easily adjust size. Any laceweight or fingering yarn will work for this shawl, hook size should be adjusted to create a nice drape while still maintaining texture
Hook: This pattern requires a 6.0 mm tunisian crochet hook with cable for laceweight yarn.
Beading is optional. Heavily beaded full sized shawl uses ~4000 size 8/0 beads. Small shawl used about 2500 beads. Option for light beading used about 1/4 the beads used for the heavily beaded version.
Sample shown used 1000 yards of VioletLynx Dyeworks Laceweight Silk and 120g of 8/0 beads.
Skill level- Intermediate
Basic knowledge of tunisian crochet is assumed (forward pass/return pass etc). Written instructions.
