Faith In Action is a Christian fiction series following five surfing friends as they start their senior year in high school. Luke and Sara (twins), Danny, Pedro and Jose (Cuban orphans) have to face the consequences of their decisions, including lying, stealing, drinking, revenge, teen pregnancy, sneaking out, and carrying secrets.

Pedro's peace of mind unravels when he spies the man who executed his parents in cold blood. Desperate to learn the truth behind their unsolved murders, Pedro and friends defy the authorities and take matters into their own hands. But they soon discover that criminals more sinister than Pedro’s parents’ killers are now hunting them down.

Add in the chaos of a social media stalker, and the drama of competing in high school sports, these Christian friends face their problems head-on, leaning on their faith for strength. With Jesus at the center of their messy lives, these friends must fight for justice and survival.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Lord has your back if you know what to look for.

Great book to share with your children...of all ages. My 30 year old daughter as well as my 14 year old granddaughter could understand the feelings and meaning of finding Christ in their life. The story is prayerful and powerful without being preachy. The characters are so much like someone we know in our own life. My heart went out to those young boys on the run. We tried to help a run away and keep him out of trouble. He ended up as my son-in-law and gave us two wonderful grandchildren. God works in mysterious ways. The way Mr. and Mrs. Addison held Luke financially and emotionally responsible for his actions and choices, good and bad, and was always there to support him and guide him back to the right defines Christian parents. Course, it goes a long way to confirm his teaching, that he was physically sick after a bad choice was made.

The characters were realistic, the adventures were interesting, the drama was definitely there, and the Lord's love and protection shines through at each turn.

Totally looking forward to the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great beginning to a series of young adult stories

I enjoyed this story by Megy Davis for a few reasons. First, I lived in the area in which the story takes place for many years, and it brought vivid memories back to me. Second, the pace at which the story unfolds keeps you turning the pages to see what is going to transpire. Third, the moral lessons from the teen's encounters make it an undeniably good choice for young adults in this modern age of uncertainty. I would recommend this book to readers of any age and am looking forward to reading the second installment, Pay It Backward. Good read!!
