Artemis and Apollo A5 Print - Modern Gods
A5 Print (14.8cm x 21cm)
How are Artemis and Apollo these days?
The life of a Greek God in modern times is not quite as intense as it was 2000 years ago. They are now known worldwide and function a little more like superheroes or pop culture icons. Yes, they aren't as powerful as they once were, and sacrifices have dried up, but that doesn't mean that they've got nothing to do!
Apollo has been very impressed with developments to architecture, technology and culture. He loves to travel, and since his worship slowed down at the fall of Rome, a thought came to mind, 'Who comes next?' and he became interested in all kinds of civilisations. He has since been touring villages, towns and cities, enjoying the food, the people and especially the music. He is intrigued by this new era of music, though he prefers to stick to the 'classics'.
Artemis doesn't particularly care for this new age of automation, and has started running all-female archery groups worldwide. She remains a protector of women, and has kept her fondness for deer. She spends her days in quiet corners of nature, thinking about the past, and vehemently opposing deforestation.
The twins have stayed in contact with each other, rushing to one another's aid when needed, and have started running karaoke nights for their family members.
