Story of a Survivor: Hester Waas

This 8-page-long half-page zine recounts in detail the experience of my grandmother, Hester Kool (née Waas), Holocaust survivor. Hester passed in October 2025 at age 98, but she left behind a wealth of information in the form of survivor testimonies and stories she told me and my family. I aim to carry on her work of spreading Holocaust education through telling her story with this zine.
