This easy knit, stocking stitch, striped cushion is worked in three colours. Knitting stitch embroidery and an alphabet graph are then used for you to embroider the name or word of your choice.
Cushion width: 40 (45-50) cm [15¾ (17¾-19¾) ins].
Cushion height (approx): 40 (45-50) cm [15¾ (17¾-19¾) ins].
Yarn required: Lincraft DK 8ply, 100g balls@266m.
1 ball 1st Colour.
1 ball 2nd Colour.
1 ball 3rd Colour.
Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm [UK 8, US 6] knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up and embroidery.
Also required:
A 40 (45-50) cm [15¾ (17¾-19¾) ins] cushion insert.
A 35 (40-45) cm [13¾ (15¾-17¾) ins] zip (optional).
Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
