Hi, and welcome to the very first recipe of my WARM-UP · KM 1 · MORNING STEPS menu!
My name is M’s, a passionate home cook, runner, and food creator.
This recipe belongs to my first freezer meal prep collection of five dishes, which I call WARM-UP · KM 1 · MORNING STEPS, inspired by my marathon journey.
The first kilometer represents five recipes, coming together as a complete freezer meal prep menu, five dishes, 20 portions, in two versions (vegan and flexi). Just as every marathon is built step by step, this collection is about small beginnings, taking the first steps towards more variety and joy in everyday cooking.
Garden Harmony with Velvet Dill marks the start of the journey, covering the first 0.2 km. It sets the tone for what lies ahead: colorful vegetables, fluffy rice, and a creamy dill sauce, with the option of seared salmon for extra protein. Freezer-friendly and ideal for meal prep, it’s a dish you can cook once, portion, label, and enjoy throughout the week.
