MARS - GUV

The Mars Guv IRs focus on the Eminence Governor in the X-loaded Marshall 1960B cabinet. Close-miked to highlight the speaker’s character, the Governor delivers a Vintage-30-style voice with a smoother top end and without the signature midrange spike. It pairs exceptionally well with tight high-gain tones while maintaining a balanced, confident midrange. This set offers a modern, focused alternative to the EV-12L and Greenback captures.

All captures were made using a Quilter power amp set as flat as possible, driven at full stage volume. Antelope converters at 96k and 90-second sine sweeps ensure clarity, consistency, and phase-accurate detail.
