Introduction

This squared tote bag is made using Tunisian Simple Stitch but you won’t need a tunisian hook. We will be using a “join as you go” technique called entrelac, so we will not need to sew the checkers together and you won’t need to carry both colors together.

This is a customizable pattern because you can easily change the size of the bag, the color combinations and even the checker size if you’d like.

If you are familiar with Tunisian Simple Stitch, this will be a very easy and quick project. However, this pattern can also be made by beginners, as photos and a video tutorial are included and I don’t use Tunisian crochet terms.
