Continue your Spanish journey with a fully structured and supportive language programme designed to guide you from complete beginner all the way to advanced level. Our courses are aligned (approx) with the CEFR framework, meaning you can join at the level that suits you and progress with clarity, confidence and purpose. If you are not a beginner, you can enter the programme at any stage and continue building from where you are.

A2 Spanish Conversation Builder PART 1

This course is designed for learners who already understand the basics of Spanish but want to strengthen their speaking ability and feel more confident using the language before progressing to higher levels.

Rather than introducing large amounts of new grammar, this course focuses on revisiting and practising essential language from A1 and A2, helping learners move from recognising Spanish to using it comfortably and naturally in conversation. Throughout the course we will revisit key topics such as:

•Greetings, introductions and personal details

• Talking about where you live and describing your town or home

• Discussing hobbies and free time activities

• Talking about family members and relationships

• Giving and justifying opinions

• Talking about past holidays and travel experiences

• Expressing likes and dislikes about food and exploring Hispanic cuisine

Learners will also strengthen important grammar foundations including:

• Using common irregular verbs

• Using the past tense, including irregular forms

• Using stem-changing (boot) verbs

• Asking and answering questions naturally in conversation

Our lessons are carefully designed to make learning feel manageable, enjoyable and achievable. We focus on practical vocabulary, accurate pronunciation, conversational confidence and strong grammatical foundations. Grammar underpins everything-it allows you to express yourself clearly and understand how the language works. By building this step by step, you gain the tools to create your own sentences with confidence.

Classes run once a week for one hour in small groups of 6–12 learners, ensuring a supportive environment with regular speaking practice and clear guidance at every stage. Sessions are carefully paced so no one feels left behind or overwhelmed. All lessons are delivered by expert and native teachers with experience living in both Spain and South America. Classes take place at either Whalley Old Grammar School or our main language centre in Padiham.

All materials are included. You will receive a physical folder packed with printed resources, weekly vocabulary lists, homework and lesson summaries. You will also have ongoing access to our online course folder, along with exclusive in-house videos, a Spanish sitcom series designed for beginners and short stories designed to bring your learning to life and place it into real-world context.

Alongside the course, we also run regular community events such as tapas, salsa or film nights, so you are not just joining a course, but a community of like minded individuals! Plus our upcoming immersion trip to Valencia!

Each course runs for 12 weeks at a total cost of £160. A £75 deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance due before the course begins (you will receive an automatic reminder via email one week prior).
