Little Bible Explorers: Moses and the Bronze Snake | Digital Edition

Eli feels tired and tells Mum he needs a rest. Join Eli, Maya and Mum as they read the Bible account of Moses and the bronze snake: a difficult wilderness journey, the people’s complaints, dangerous snakes, a request for prayer and God’s particular instruction to Moses.

Original-series-style illustrations accompany this selected retelling. Moses prays, makes a bronze snake and places it on a pole. The account says bitten people who look at it live. The modern family scenes encourage children to name their needs, ask caring people for support and make room for questions and rest.

READING TOGETHER

This account includes dangerous snakes, bites and deaths. Deaths are named gently; no bite, wound or death is pictured. Preview it before reading with a young child and pause whenever needed. Grown-up notes explain the selected retelling and its difficult context. Ordinary childhood tiredness, worry or illness is not treated as evidence of punishment. The bronze snake belongs to this particular Bible account; looking at an object or picture is not medical treatment, and prayer must not delay medical care.

Modern scenes are fictional; ancient settings are imaginative. AI-assisted illustrations selected and reviewed for this edition. Activities require a grown-up and safe familiar objects. Do not seek or handle real snakes.
