Nature Exploration Educator Guide (PDF)

This guide is designed to help educators lead learners through Nature Exploration Journal activities, in order to spark curiosity, build observation skills, and help kids feel at home in nature through hands-on exploration and open-ended play.

Included are 18 quick, 20-minute Nature Exploration Journal printable activity prompt pages. Repeat each prompt four times and that adds up to a total of 24 hours outside—that’s one full days of fresh air and discovery! 

Activities are designed for elementary age students, but can be scaled up or down with help from the educator.
