Executive Coaching Built Around You

Executive Coaching Built Around You

No two leaders face exactly the same challenges. TaylorMade Academy Executive Coaching is designed around your role, your priorities and the outcomes you want to achieve.

You may be stepping into a more senior position, leading a major transformation, managing other managers or directors, dealing with difficult relationships, preparing for an important decision or simply feeling that you need a confidential space to think clearly.

Whatever brings you to coaching, the focus will be on practical progress, greater clarity and stronger leadership impact.

This is not a generic, one-size-fits-all programme. Your coaching will be shaped around where you are now, where you want to go and what may be getting in the way.

Real Experience. Honest Challenge. Practical Support.

Working with Paul Taylor means drawing on over 30 years of senior leadership, operational management and business transformation experience.

Paul has led large, complex and internationally distributed teams, managed significant organisational change, operated at board and director level and supported businesses through periods of growth, pressure and uncertainty.

He holds an MBA, master’s degrees in Strategic and Team Management and Project Management, and a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. He is also a Chartered Manager, Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

This is not theoretical coaching delivered from a textbook. It is confidential, focused and grounded in the realities of leading people, managing pressure and making difficult decisions.

You will be supported, challenged and encouraged to turn insight into action.

What Executive Coaching Can Help You Achieve

Executive coaching provides dedicated time to step back from the immediate demands of your role and focus on the bigger picture.

Depending on your priorities, your coaching may help you:

  • Gain greater clarity and focus.
  • Make better, more confident decisions.
  • Develop your personal leadership style.
  • Prepare for a promotion or more senior role.
  • Lead teams through change and uncertainty.
  • Manage managers, directors and senior stakeholders.
  • Improve delegation, accountability and performance.
  • Navigate organisational politics and difficult relationships.
  • Prepare for challenging conversations.
  • Build confidence and executive presence.
  • Address leadership habits that may be limiting your effectiveness.
  • Create a practical plan for the next stage of your career.
  • Manage the personal pressure that comes with senior responsibility.

The objective is not simply to have an interesting conversation. Each session should help you move forward with clearer thinking, practical actions and greater confidence.

Who Is This Programme For?

TaylorMade Academy Executive Coaching is suitable for:

  • Senior managers.
  • Heads of department.
  • Functional and operational leaders.
  • Finance and finance operations professionals.
  • Directors and board members.
  • Business owners and entrepreneurs.
  • Leaders moving into a larger or more complex role.
  • Professionals preparing for promotion.
  • Executives leading transformation or organisational change.
  • Newly appointed leaders working through their first 100 days.

You do not need to be facing a crisis to benefit from coaching. Many clients use executive coaching because they are performing well but want to become more effective, prepare for greater responsibility or avoid becoming isolated at the top of an organisation.

A Confidential Space to Think Clearly

Senior leadership can be an isolating place.

The more responsibility you carry, the fewer people you may feel able to speak to openly. You may need to consider the impact of your decisions on employees, customers, colleagues, shareholders and your own career.

Executive coaching gives you a confidential and constructive space to explore those issues without judgement.

Paul will listen carefully, ask direct questions and challenge your thinking where appropriate. He will help you examine different perspectives, identify assumptions and consider the consequences of the choices available to you.

The purpose is not to tell you what to do. It is to help you reach better-informed decisions and take greater ownership of the actions that follow.

Where appropriate, and with your agreement, Paul may also draw on his own leadership and transformation experience to provide mentoring, practical guidance or an alternative perspective.

How the Programme Works

Your coaching begins with an initial conversation to understand your role, current situation and objectives.

Together, you will agree the areas you want to focus on and what meaningful progress would look like.

Your sessions may include:

  • Reviewing current leadership challenges.
  • Exploring your goals and priorities.
  • Identifying barriers, risks and competing demands.
  • Challenging assumptions and established ways of thinking.
  • Considering different options and approaches.
  • Agreeing practical actions.
  • Reviewing progress and accountability.
  • Adjusting your objectives as your circumstances change.

Every programme is tailored to the individual. Some clients arrive with a very specific issue they need to resolve. Others want broader support over several months as they develop their leadership capability or work through a major period of change.

What You Can Expect From Paul

You can expect:

  • Complete professionalism and discretion.
  • A confidential and non-judgemental environment.
  • Honest feedback and constructive challenge.
  • Practical, commercially grounded conversations.
  • A programme shaped around your individual needs.
  • Clear actions and accountability where appropriate.
  • Support that recognises the realities of senior leadership.
  • A coach who has personally managed people, performance, transformation and organisational pressure.

Paul’s approach is supportive, but it is not passive. Good coaching should challenge you to think differently, confront difficult issues and take responsibility for meaningful action.
