Lust for a Vampire

This is the second film in Hammer’s Karnstein Trilogy.

Several decades after the events of The Vampire Lovers, the Karnstein vampire family is still active. The evil Count Karnstein resurrects his beautiful descendant, Mircalla Karnstein (Yutte Stensgaard), a seductive vampire.

Mircalla enrolls as a student at a prestigious all-girls finishing school under the alias "Janet Blake." She quickly becomes the object of obsession for Richard Lestrange, a young novelist and teacher at the school, who falls madly in love with her.

As Mircalla gives in to her vampiric urges, she begins seducing and feeding on the young female students. Mysterious deaths and disappearances start occurring around the school. Meanwhile, a local historian and other villagers become suspicious of the Karnstein legacy and begin investigating.

The film builds toward a confrontation between the vampire hunters and the seductive, bloodthirsty Mircalla.

This is the second film in Hammer’s Karnstein Trilogy.
