"The rent is cheap" painting
I believe when I painted this, I was watching a lot of Jack Lemmon movies, mostly from the 90's, hence this fella's look. "Who's Jack Lemmon?" ask your mom, loser. Anyway, I don't know, I thought this concept was funny. The rent is cheap goes two ways. Are we in a cool ass monster universe, where you can live in a grave comfortably, and people are just like, "oh you". Or is the implication, the rent is cheap because it's death? That's free. He also has a tiny bat that can't hear. Get it? This is acrylic and watercolor paint. It measures 18" x 24".
