PDF sheet music for 40 traditional folk tunes, arranged for cello. There are several versions of each tune:

1. A melody version in a key that is optimised for the cello, to play solo;

2. A melody version in the original key, which can be used playing in sessions and ceilidh bands;

3. A bassline in the original key, which can be used playing in sessions and ceilidh bands, and is better suited to a group setting than playing the melody might be.

This collection doubles as a book of folk violin and cello duets, as the basslines (in bass clef) are printed below the original melodies in treble clef.

Please note: I have also published some books of fiddle and cello duets separately. Volume 2 of my fiddle and cello duets is included FREE in this book. (So there's no need to buy that as well if you want duets!)

You get all three versions of all 40 tunes when you purchase this product. All versions come with chord symbols for an accompanist.
