From Above Cards

What if we could change someone’s day, restore a little hope, or remind someone that they are seen and loved by God… one small act of kindness at a time?

Many years ago, God placed something on my heart called From Above. It’s a simple idea, but I believe it has the potential to touch lives in ways we may never fully know.

The idea is this:

When the Holy Spirit places someone on your heart and prompts you to bless them, you follow that prompting. It doesn’t have to be something big or expensive. It simply needs to come from a heart willing to be used by God.

☕ Maybe you buy a coffee for the person behind you in line.

🍽️ Maybe you leave an unexpectedly generous tip for a server who has been working hard.

💛 Maybe you know someone is going through a difficult season, so you leave a small gift on their desk to brighten their day.

🤍 Maybe you bless someone who is homeless or struggling to meet their basic needs.

🌻 Maybe it’s a gift card, a meal, a handwritten note, or simply meeting a need that God has brought to your attention.

Whatever it looks like, you leave a From Above card with your gift.

The card is a reminder that this gift comes from Him. You remain anonymous, allowing the kindness to speak for itself and pointing the recipient toward the One who sees them, knows them, and loves them deeply.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above…” James 1:17

You don’t have to be wealthy to be part of this movement. You don’t need a big platform, an organization, or a lot of money. You just need a willing heart.

I don’t have the financial resources to launch this the way I envision it right now. But I keep coming back to the thought that maybe I’m not supposed to do it alone. Maybe the first step is simply sharing the vision and inviting others to join me.

Imagine the server who is having a terrible day receiving a tip that helps pay a bill. The person who feels invisible discovering that someone thought of them. The stranger who has lost hope being reminded that they are not forgotten.

We may never know the full story of the person we bless. We may never see what happens after we walk away. But we can trust that even the smallest act of love can make a difference.

My hope is that From Above becomes a movement of ordinary people doing extraordinary things through God’s love, quietly blessing others and asking for nothing in return.

No recognition. No credit. No expectation of anything in return. Just love.

If God places someone on your heart, consider responding to that prompting. Bless them in whatever way you can, leave a From Above card, and let the gift remind them that every good and perfect gift comes from above.
