They can provide friendship, healing, connection with the Divine, along with hundreds of opportunities to grow, learn, and flourish. Tragically, many faith communities have rejected LGBTQ+ persons or treated LGBTQ+ persons as though they were fundamentally broken.
The Belong Wrap was designed specifically to stand against these harmful practices and beliefs, and to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community for what it truly is – beloved and fully affirmed by God – completely belonging!!
If you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community and you have been on the receiving end of these damaging faith beliefs, know this: you are not broken. There is nothing about who you are that needs to be ‘fixed.’ You are magnificent, worthy in every way, affirmed by God, and deserving of love, companionship, and belonging.

Using a worsted weight yarn and a meditative stitch pattern, the Belong Wrap works up quickly and has ultimate squish! While the Belong Wrap was designed using a six color rainbow, feel free to use any combination of colors you like, or to make the entire wrap in one color. Your wrap should feel as though it belongs in your wardrobe. This pattern uses 1700 - 1900 yards of DK weight yarn (worsted weight can be substituted easily!).
