The LM Studio 'Precision' Preset Pack (Fix Loops & Logic)

Your model isn't stupid. Your settings are just wrong.

Most local LLM issues (looping, repeating words, boring answers, hallucinations) come from bad sampler settings. Leaving everything on "Default" cripples even the best models like Llama 3 or Mistral.

I’ve fine-tuned these 3 specific presets to cover every use case. Just import the JSONs into LM Studio (Right panel -> Presets -> Import) and switch modes instantly.

What u get (.json files):

• 🎨 Creative_Storytelling.json: High temperature with "Min-P" smoothing. Makes the AI write like a human author. Best for RP and stories.
• 📐 Strict_Instruction.json: Low temp, high precision. Forces the AI to stick to facts and code. No creative hallucinations.
• 🛑 Anti_Loop_Fix.json: Aggressive penalty settings. Use this if a model keeps repeating itself or gets stuck in a loop. It forces new tokens.

Works with any model in LM Studio.
