This Halloween Bat Art Project is a cute October art lesson for classroom or homeschool settings. Students use paint, oil pastel and layered paper to create a bat artwork, experimenting with a variety of mediums and learning how to layer different elements.

The finished bats make a fun Halloween display. The resource includes a lesson plan, a finished example, a step-by-step handout, a rubric for marking, and a visual and text step-by-step with each step on its own page.
